VPNHL Subscription Setup Guide
Create an account, get your subscription, import it into a client, then check the app you want to use.
This guide focuses on the steps needed to make your first connection. Have your device ready and make sure your local network is working. If you already have an account or subscription, continue from the relevant step without repeating earlier ones.
Create an account and save your login details
Select “Start Free” below to open the VPNHL user panel. This starts the account setup process; plan prices and eligibility are shown in the panel. VPNHL doesn’t require an email address. Create an account with a username and password. Choose a username you can recognize, and save your password in your password manager instead of reusing it on other sites.
After submitting the form, check for on-screen instructions. If your username is unavailable, choose another one. If the page doesn’t move on, look for messages near the input fields and don’t submit repeatedly. Once you’re done, open the user panel. If prompted to sign in, use the username and password you just saved. Make sure you’re viewing your own account overview before choosing a plan.
An account and a subscription are separate steps. After creating an account, you can view service information in the panel, but the panel determines client download eligibility and subscription availability based on your current plan. If server or download options aren’t available yet, don’t assume the client is faulty. Complete the next step, then check the overview again.
Because no email address is required, be sure to keep your login details safe. Don’t assume you can reset your password by email, and never put your password in public notes, chat screenshots, or shared documents. If you already have an account, sign in and use it to check your orders and subscription instead of switching between accounts and risking confusion.
Start FreeChoose a plan and check the billing terms
After signing in, open the plans section of the user panel and compare monthly subscriptions with data packages. Monthly subscriptions are suited to ongoing use, with data resetting monthly on the activation date. Data packages are consumed as you use them and never expire. Since the data allowances work differently, choose based on your usage habits—not just the most prominent price on the page.
Monthly subscriptions include ¥9.9/month for 60GB, ¥18/month for 250GB, and ¥28/month for 500GB. Data packages include ¥158 for 300GB, ¥358 for 1000GB, and ¥658 for 3000GB. Web browsing, video streaming, and file transfers can use very different amounts of data. If you don’t have usage history yet, choose based on your typical activities and check your actual usage in the account overview. Unlimited devices does not mean unlimited data—every device uses data from your plan.
After choosing a plan, review its name, price, and billing terms on the order confirmation page. VPNHL supports Alipay / WeChat Pay / USDT; follow the payment page provided in the panel. For USDT, carefully check the required network and amount on the payment page. Don’t rely on payment details from another order, and never pay using unverified payment information sent in a chat.
After payment, return to the user panel and check whether the order result and subscription status have updated. Payment confirmation, order confirmation, and an active subscription are checked in different places. If the information hasn’t synced yet, refresh the relevant status and review the order before placing another one. Keep your order records for reference, but redact unrelated personal information from screenshots before sharing them.
VPNHL offers a 60-day no-questions-asked refund. See the refund policy for details on how to apply. If you upgrade a monthly subscription mid-cycle, the price difference is converted into remaining days, so don’t estimate the amount due by simply subtracting full months. Compare plans on the plans and pricing page. Once your subscription is active, continue to the next step to get your configuration.
Choose This PlanGet your subscription and check its configuration
Open your account overview and check your subscription status, available data, and any validity notices. Once everything looks good, find the copy-subscription or import-into-client option. The panel may offer different configurations for different clients. Choose your client first, then select the matching option to avoid importing an incompatible configuration.
A subscription link isn’t a regular website address. Your client uses it to retrieve servers and configuration, and may use the same link for future updates. After copying it, paste it into the client’s remote configuration or subscription URL field. If the panel offers a direct import option, follow the prompts to open an installed client. If the app doesn’t launch, copy the link and import it manually instead.
Before and after copying, make sure you’re using the right account—especially if you’ve signed in to another account on the same device. If the subscription option is missing, copying fails, or the subscription appears invalid, check its status in the account overview rather than asking another user for a link. The panel login page, order page, and this guide are not subscription links and cannot provide the configuration your client needs.
Treat your subscription link like sensitive account information. Don’t post it in public groups, upload client screenshots showing the full link to forums, or paste it into untrusted online conversion tools. If you need help importing it, share the error message and client name. Before sending a screenshot, hide the URL and any credentials it contains.
After getting your subscription, follow the platform-specific instructions below to import it. For details on updating links, configuration formats, and what to do if a link is exposed, read the guide to getting and updating your subscription link. For your first connection, you only need to import and update the configuration; there’s no need to learn every configuration detail first.
Open the Account OverviewImport the client for your platform
Open the downloads section in the user panel and choose a client that matches your device’s operating system. You’ll need to sign in to download a client or get your subscription; the panel determines download eligibility. This page doesn’t provide direct installer links or require an unverified third-party version. Read the installation and import instructions in the downloads section, then follow the steps for your platform.
The client apps mentioned below support subscription management and proxy connections; they are not browser extensions or standalone speed test tools. After installing one, find its configuration management menu, import your subscription, and connect once the server list appears. Simply opening the app without importing a configuration usually won’t show any VPNHL servers.
Windows: Desktop Subscription Clients
In the panel, choose the VPNHL client for Windows, then install and launch it using the download instructions. Open the “Configuration” or “Subscription” section and look for an option such as Add Remote Configuration or Import from URL. Paste the subscription link you copied into the URL field. If there’s a name field, enter a label that helps you identify it. Save, refresh the configuration, and confirm that this subscription is selected.
Once the server list appears, choose a region and connect or enable the system proxy. If Windows displays a network permissions prompt, make sure it’s from the client you just installed before granting access. Don’t enable another proxy app at the same time, or your browser may use a different configuration. After the client shows a connection, follow the final section to verify it. An open client window alone doesn’t mean every app is connected.
macOS: Desktop Configuration Clients
In the panel’s downloads section, choose the VPNHL client for macOS and install it as instructed. The app may request network permissions the first time it opens; confirm the app’s source before proceeding. Open its main window or menu bar controls, go to configuration management, and add a remote subscription. Paste and save the matching link from the panel. If direct import doesn’t open the app, paste the link manually to complete the same steps.
After updating the configuration, make sure the servers have loaded. Choose a server from your current subscription and connect. The menu bar icon can help you reopen the client, but seeing the icon doesn’t mean the proxy is enabled. If your browser still uses an old connection, close the current page, reopen the target site, and check again. For permission errors and connection issues, see the troubleshooting guide.
Android: Mobile Subscription Clients
In the user panel, choose the Android client and install it as instructed. In the app, open “Configuration,” “Subscription,” or a similar management screen, add a remote subscription, and paste the link. Save and refresh the configuration, wait for the server list to appear, then select a server and connect. If Android asks to allow a VPN connection, check which app made the request before granting permission.
Once connected, check whether the client has per-app proxy settings. If only selected apps should use the proxy, make sure the app you want is included. For your first check, keep the panel’s suggested defaults and avoid changing routing and background settings at the same time. If access stops working after switching networks, check the connection status in the client first; don’t delete your existing subscription.
iOS: Mobile Clients That Support Remote Subscriptions
Check the iOS client instructions and App Store link in the panel’s downloads section, and follow the compatibility requirements shown there. After installation, open a client that supports remote subscriptions and find the option to add a subscription or import a configuration. Paste the matching link from the panel into the URL field. Field names vary between apps; use the address field, not the server name or notes field.
Save and update the subscription, then select a server and connect. iOS may ask to add a VPN configuration. Confirm the request comes from the client you’re using, then follow the system prompts to grant permission. Return to the client to check its connection status, then open the app you want to use. Both the subscription configuration and iOS VPN permission need to be set up; completing just one isn’t enough.
VPNHL also supports Linux. Find the relevant client in the user panel’s downloads section. To use multiple devices, import an active subscription and check the connection separately on each one. Unlimited devices doesn’t mean the connection switch on one device controls the others. For import errors, permission prompts, or configuration update issues, start with the help center. For step-by-step diagnosis, see the troubleshooting guide.
Get the ClientConnect to a server and verify app access
After importing your subscription, choose a server in the client and connect. For your first session, keep the applicable default settings from the panel and client instructions rather than changing multiple rules at once. VPNHL covers 120+ countries and 210+ servers. Choose a region supported by the service you want to use; a region name in the server list alone doesn’t guarantee that the service permits access for your account.
When testing, check your local network and proxy connection separately. First, make sure regular websites load on your local network. Then connect through the client and visit the target site. Open the app you actually want to use and check that you can sign in, load pages, and complete its main tasks. A website working in your browser doesn’t mean a standalone app follows the same proxy route, so check per-app proxy and routing settings.
If the client shows connected but websites won’t load, check whether the current configuration is enabled, the subscription updated successfully, and the target app is included in the proxy scope. If a website says your region isn’t supported, choose a region that meets its requirements and try again. The service’s own account, regional, and usage terms still apply; not every error is caused by the server connection.
If you need to try a different server, change only one setting at a time. Keep the target website and local network the same, then note the result. Don’t change DNS, proxy mode, and app rules all at once, or you won’t know which change made a difference. If the server list changes, update your subscription and choose a server from the refreshed configuration rather than relying on an outdated entry.
If you still can’t connect, find the matching symptom in the troubleshooting guide. To submit a support ticket, include your device’s operating system, client name, error message, what you were doing, and the checks you’ve already tried. Don’t include your password or full subscription link. Redact account credentials from screenshots and show only information relevant to the issue.
You’re done once you can open the target website, use the app as needed, and confirm the client stays connected. After that, check data usage and subscription status in your account overview. Access requirements vary across AI tools and streaming services; see the AI guide and streaming access guide. You don’t need to configure every use case before your first connection.
